The Trebles are a group of Altos and Sopranos in the Northern Virginia area who have been singing together since the Fall of 2017. Initially drawn together as members of the same church congregation, we sing both sacred and secular music and are especially fond of singing folk and Americana. We are huge fans of the music of The Wailin’ Jennys and also love to sing the work of Dan Forrest, among other inspiring composers.

As a group we have found that the work we do to create beauty and blend in our voices has created a bond of friendship that we treasure. This was never more apparent than when we were meeting during the pandemic to rehearse from lawn chairs we set up in the amphitheater of a local park. We hope that the connections we have built with one another extend to each member of the audiences we sing for. That no matter who you are you feel the appreciation we have for you and can share in the joy of our common musical experience.
